In today's world, much fewer people actually buy batman/superman comics, whereas One Piece volumes have exclusively been sold in the last couple decades. Basically, One Piece gets the advantage of price inflation. In terms of actual comics sold over time, Batman, Superman, and probably Spiderman probably beat it out by a lot Batman V Superman may have gotten a movie, but the true grudge match in the DC Universe is between the Man of Steel and DC’s upcoming movie star Shazam!. Shazam and Superman have a long and Batman has the 60s Batman, four high profile movies in the 80s and 90s, a popular cartoon and then three more big movies. Is she more well known throughout the world is what I'm saying. she is not, and I don't think it's close. Which is not to say she is not popular, she is. Her movie gave her a huge boost.
